Arrested NSA contractor is no Snowden, officials say

A federal contractor recently arrested for removing classified materials from the National Security Agency (NSA) is no Edward Snowden, former intelligence and law enforcement officials say.

NSA contractor Harold Martin, 51, whose arrest was made public this week, quickly drew attention as a possible “Snowden 2.0.” Like Snowden, Martin was a Booz Allen Hamilton employee who is accused of having removed reams of classified documents from the NSA.
