The scam email is pretending to be from Reserve Bank of India (RBI) office, the email is much more crafted and having some professionalism sort of wording. Scammers are offering the unclaimed money from none other than the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). This time they want you to believe that it is the RBI, which wants to pay you money of amount $500,000.00.

To make this offer through email more realistic, they have even used RBI governor D Subbarao’s name and they mention a so-called meeting with a “Senate Tax Committee on Finance”. After creating a jazzy story to create a virtual atmosphere of money gain in the mind of the users, scammers put his intension of asking personal and bank details to the users. Also, ask for RS 10,500, for crediting the unclaimed amount to your account on the same day.

The scammers are not hesitated to use the RBI governor’s name even, in addition to seeking details like full name, age, sex, address, bank details, etc.

We recommend you all to stay away from such emails and do not even reply them.
