Motorola will update Moto X and Droid Ultra, Maxx, and Mini to Android 4.4

HTC moved aggressively to assure customers that its flagship HTC One will see Android 4.4 upgrades in short order. Now, Motorola is following suit. If you have a Moto X on any major US carrier, or a Droid Ultra, Maxx, or Mini on Verizon, you should see an update to Android KitKat at some point in the future, according to Motorolas upgrade website. Motorolas not committing to any particular timeframe, so its not clear how long those updates might take, but Motorola VP Punit Soni hints that it might not take as long as previous rollouts.
