Description:
Alert Logic continues to grow and is seeking to hire a PCI Security Analyst to work in our 24x7x365 Global Security Operations Center located in Houston, TX. The PCI Security Analyst will be responsible for monitoring Alert Logic scans, conducting vulnerability analysis and assisting in the vulnerability remediation process through expert analysis. In this role you will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service while investigating and handling PCI ASV disputes with our customers.

Alert Logic simplifies IT security and compliance management by delivering an integrated solution consisting of Software-as-a-Service products and 24×7 Security Operations Monitoring services for intrusion detection, vulnerability assessment and log management. Built from the ground up to address the unique challenges of public and private cloud environments, Alert logic partners with over half of the largest cloud and hosting service providers to provide Security-as-a-Service for over 1,200 direct and indirect customers.

Responsibilities:

. Monitor global vulnerability scanning operations and results

. Work closely with customers to assist in remediating or providing compensating controls for vulnerabilities that the PCI Council deems unacceptable for PCI compliancy

. Prepare vulnerability remediation and prevention documentation

. Provide research and logistical support for scanning activities

. Document and conform to processes related to vulnerability analysis

. Provide performance metrics and comprehensive vulnerability scan results as necessary

. Provide customer service that exceeds our customers’ expectations


Required skills:
. 5+ years hands-on experience with network security

. At least 2 security related certifications (CPT, CEH, etc) or an active CISSP would be ideal

. Familiarity working with network switches, routers, and firewalls

. Familiarity with Linux and Windows systems and security

. Experience with vulnerability scanning and methods for discovering vulnerabilities

. Hands on experience with

. Strong understanding of TCP/IP and other network protocols

. Must be detail oriented and customer focused with excellent
