Credit Card Details of 10,000 Exposed in Houstonian Hotel Security Breach

A security breach carried out on the systems of the Houstonian Hotel, Club and Spa, with a duration of about six months, lead to credit card details of at least 10,000 customers to be exposed.The management of the retreat was informed on June 10 by the U.S. Secret Service of a potential attack that targeted the payment processing systems.It appears that the perpetrators managed to maintain access to the systems with sensitive information for a period of almost six months, from December 28, 201…
