Kenya Launches New Cybercrime Unit

Kenya loses a total of more than $23.3 million (17.2million) every year due to cybercrime. This is why the countrys Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) has decided to launch a new unit that will handle the prosecution of cybercrimes.

According to IT News Africa, the Director of Public Prosecutions Keriako Tobiko says that his office will also review existing legislation related to the prosecution of cybercriminals.
