NatWest Customers Prevented from Accessing Online Services Due to DDOS Attack

Over the weekend, customers of the National Westminster Bank (NatWest), which is part of The Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS), were unable to access online banking services due to a distributed denial-of-service (DDOS) attack launched against the financial institutions website.

The banks representatives have assured everyone that at no time was there any risk to customers.
