Number of VBS Malware Infections Increases in Latin America

Cybercriminals are relying more and more on Visual Basic Scripting (VBS) malware to infect the computers of users from Latin America. Experts from Trend Micro have found that this type of malware accounts for 28% of the infections in the region.

The most common VBS pieces of malware are VBS_SOSYOS, VBS_JENXCUS and VBS_DUNIH.
