Ruben Santamarta, a principal security consultant with IOActive, has published a whitepaper on the security issues that plague some of the most widely deployed satellite communications (SATCOM) systems.

This isnt the first time someone reports that satellite communications are vulnerable to cyberattacks. Earlier this year, we had an interview with security expert Nicholas Lemonias on this topic.
