Website of Guildford County Sheriff’s Office Hacked, Malicious Code Planted

The official website of the Guilford County Sheriffs Office (guilfordcountysheriff.com) has been breached. For the past weeks, Google has been warning users that the site may be hacked.

According to The Stokesdale Star, representatives of the Guilford County Sheriffs Office claim that the site has been cleaned up. Rick Melton, who manages the website, has told the publication that the site will be reinstalled from a clean backup.
