Apple reportedly crawls back to Samsung again for iPad mini displays

Apple executives may hate Samsung and its “poorly made objects” with every fiber of their being but that doesn’t matter: Samsung is still a first-rate component supplier and Apple still needs it to help manufacture products to the scale it wants. AppleInsider directs our attention to a new report from Korea’s ETNews that claims Apple has decided to go with Samsung as its top supplier for displays for its iPad mini tablets.  Originally, Apple had opted to go with AU Optronics and LG Display for its iPad mini display production, while also later adding Sharp on as an extra supplier.
