BlackBerry’s Stock Skyrockets Then Crashes Because of Misread Pentagon Press Release

The Pentagon, which didn’t want any BlackBerrys right now, thank you very much. A funny thing happened on the long, slow way to the BlackBerry graveyard this week.  The mayhem started on Jan. 16, when the U.S. Department of Defense announced it would start using a brand new wireless network, starting Jan. 31. The program also supports 80,000 BlackBerry phones.
