China’s moon rover takes its first photo

After becoming the first robot to successfully land on the Moon in nearly 40 years, Chinas Yutu rover has started taking photos. The first picture shows the Change-3 lander, its companion on its lunar journey. The probe took a small set of its own photos since landing yesterday, including one showing the lunar surface. Observers can expect more in the future, as the Yutu is expected to collect samples and send dispatches to Chinas control centers for the next three months.
