Google’s most popular device is now available in more markets

Google on Tuesday confirmed that the Chromecast will be available in other international markets, many more than initially believed. The device will be on sale in an additional 11 countries including Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden and the U.K. – recent reports only mentioned France, Germany and U.K. availability for the dongle. The Chromecast will be available to interested buyers from local Google Play stores but also other electronics retailers including Amazon, Currys PC World, Elkjøp, FNAC, Saturn, Media Markt and many others. Just like in the U.S., the Chromecast will be equally affordable in those markets retailing for €35 in Europe for example. Google has also said that several cast-ready apps will be available
