Rockstar games promised a Windows Phone release for Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, and the game is now available in the Windows Phone Store today. The release comes around a year after Rockstar ported 2002’s GTA: Vice City to mobile devices, and a month after the release for iOS and Android. However, we’ve downloaded and tested the game on a Lumia 1020 and it works fine, so it should work on any 1GB Windows Phone 8 handset. GTA: San Andreas is available immediately in the Windows Phone Store as a 19MB download, but you’ll need to install an additional 2.5GB update after the install.
