‘High-end’ HTC Nexus tablet reportedly in the works

HTC is the latest company rumored to be working on a Nexus tablet for Google, after recent rumors have named Samsung, Asus, LG and Lenovo (Motorola) among the companies that could make such devices. Unsurprisingly, HTC did not confirm reports, telling the Commercial Times that it “does not comment on market rumors or speculation,” Focus Taiwan says. The Taiwanese company, which is expected to soon unveil the HTC One successor and launch a smartwatch by Christmas, is said to have “won orders for a high-end model of the Google Nexus tablet like that will begin shipping in the third quarter of 2014.” HTC has so far manufactured only one Nexus device, the Nexus One smartphone, and did not have any
