Congress’s top intelligence leaders insisted on Tuesday that a final deal is imminent on the text of major cyber-security legislation.
“I think we’re very close,” Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.), the House Intelligence Committee’s top Democrat, told The Hill. “We’re hoping to close in on a final product imminently.”
“I think it’s about done,” added Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.), ranking member on the Senate Intelligence Committee.
