Do you live near Tampa, Orlando, Clearwater, St. Petersberg, Lakeland or Sarasota, Florida? If so, please join us for the latest in our critically acclaimed Anatomy of an Attack seminars on June 28th in Tampa!

Feeling left out? There are plenty of other locations we will be visiting in North America this year. Keep an eye open for upcoming events in Salt Lake City, Chicago, Phoenix, Denver, Metro DC and Toronto, Ontario.

Anatomy of an Attack logoWhat is Anatomy of an Attack? Considering I wrote and present it, I think it is simply excellent :).

The seminar covers the who, what, how and why of modern malware. In the morning I explain some of the stories behind the headlines describing how today’s threats work, who creates these messes and what the results are.

We take a break for a complimentary lunch then I do a live malware demonstration showing the techniques described earlier including SQL injection, iFrame abuse, server-side polymorphism and reverse shell shoveling.

We wrap up with some advice, giveaways and an optional session on how Sophos helps you defend against this barrage of attacks.

I hope you will join us for a fun, educational day in sunny Tampa. If you live internationally you can keep an eye on our list of global events where my colleagues deliver similar sessions including Sydney, Australia on June 15th and London, UK on June 22nd.

If you would like to get a feel for what the sessions are about, or live somewhere we haven’t fit into our schedule yet, check out Anatomy of an Attack online.
