Our vision is to make Lloyds Banking Group the best bank for customers. As the UK’s largest retail and commercial bank, we have a footprint that touches nearly every community and household in the UK. That gives us a big responsibility to support the UK economy, and to put customers at the heart of everything we do.
To achieve this, we also need to be the best bank for our colleagues and our communities – and we have a clear strategy in place to make this a reality.
We are building on our many strengths: iconic brands, strong heritages and great people. To unlock the great potential in our business, we are becoming more efficient, more transparent, and more responsive to customers. Already the UK’s largest community investor, we are giving even more back. Above all, we are putting customers first.
With 30 million customers to protect, it takes IT security to a whole new level
We watch over 30 million customers. We look out for the security of 8.3 million internet users. We protect round 160,000 ATMs. The scale of what we do is huge and that brings with it some of the most exciting IT security challenges available anywhere today.
At Lloyds Banking Group our vision is to be the best bank for our customers. By putting customers first and keeping banking simple, we’ll help families, businesses and communities prosper. Security has never been more important, it is crucial. To help make our software, our systems and our services as safe as they can be, we are now looking for a number of specialists to join our business.
We’re responsible for an extraordinary amount of data. And that’s where you come in. Providing overall service management of the operational Data Loss Prevention (DLP) service, you’ll produce valuable management information on service status. But you won’t stop there. You’ll constantly seek ways to make the service even better. Providing leadership and direction to Data Leakage Prevention Analysts and Data Protection Advisors, you’ll also manage third parties involved in supporting the service. Through monitoring, education and proactive improvement, you’ll enhance the detection of data loss and reduce instances of data loss policy breaches. Along the way, you’ll work closely with sponsors, project teams and stakeholders from across the Group. You’ll also be accountable for hygiene elements of web and email traffic.
You’ll bring to the role strong understanding of DLP in the finance sector, along with relevant risk mitigation processes and tools – and their configuration, operation and enhancement. Along with blocking and release assessment, you have proven technical infrastructure knowledge of SMTP and HTML protocols and storage systems. Understanding of ITIL standards and Incident/Problem Management is essential. A highly articulate and driven individual, you’ll use advanced facilitation and chairperson skills to influence, guide and present to senior non-technical audiences.
In return, we’ll recognise and reward your performance. Our award-winning benefits package includes a flexible option that allows you to choose cash or pick from a wide range of benefits. These include a contributory pension scheme, private medical insurance and retail discount vouchers. You’ll also have our full support, training and opportunities for both personal and professional development.
