A new Facebook Scam “Play Mario Kart Game”, it pretends that anyone can play Mario Kart game on Facebook. The scam says – “Play Mario Kart on Facebook with your Friends! Join the multiplayer mayhem NOW! Click here to play”.
When you the Play tab, it redirect you a link and ask you to join the game.
As you click on it to join, automatically the message got posted on your Facebook wall- as “Like” it. Simultaneously it asks you to complete one online servey. Ever after completing the servey their is no sign of any game to play online.
This is how the scammer’s lures the users and redirect them to certain specific websites.
The scammer’s goal is to drive more traffic towards certain sites, this is how they earns the money. They might also spread new malwares and obtain personal information.
Please do not complete any online surveys.
