We’re looking for malware researchers to join our team of security researchers here in DVLabs.? The HP Digital VaccineR Labs (DVLabs) is a recognized leader in vulnerability discovery, analysis and protection. The team includes industry-recognized security researchers and developers who apply cutting-edge engineering, reverse engineering and analysis techniques to create comprehensive protection for enterprise business systems. ? If you enjoy analyzing malware, recreating infection scenarios and determining methods to detect and/or mitigate behaviors of particular threats then we’d love to hear from you.? The position requires you to be able to reverse engineer malware threats, producing produce guidance and signatures in support of various security products within HP Enterprise Security and beyond. |

10+ years experience in reverse engineering binaries on x86-based platforms with application to vulnerability and/or malware analysis domains. Experience with other architectures (e.g. ARM, PowerPC, etc.) is a plus. Strong Microsoft Windows OS internals knowledge – experience writing and debugging both kernel- and user-mode programs on XP/2003/Vista/7. Experience with other operating systems is a plus. Expert-level proficiency with reverse engineering tools (e.g. disassemblers, debuggers, instrumentation frameworks, etc.). |
