Wombat Security Technologies is looking for an individual to lead development of new email and web filtering solutions. Candidates should be well versed in the software development lifecycle and have significant experience architecting enterprise systems. Experience with email infrastructure and email filters is a plus. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated, success-driven candidate who is interested in being challenged and in learning new skills. This opening also comes with an opportunity to interact with some of the world’s leading experts in email and web filtering technologies, including several Carnegie Mellon University faculty, and to contribute to ongoing efforts to further enhance the company’s leading-edge solutions.

Required skills:
– BS/MS in Computer Science with 7 years experience

– 4+ years experience as a lead or senior developer

– 4+ years experience with C/C++

– 4+ experience configuring and supporting Enterprise Email Systems

– 4+ years experience working with SQL databases

– Experience with Perl

Desired skills:
– Experience with Machine Learning including:

Support vector machines, Bootstrap aggregating / bagging, Cluster analysis, Cascading classifiers, Decision trees, Time series analysis & time series forecasting, Boosting, Factor analysis, Structural equation modeling, Item response theory, Markov chains, Voronoi diagrams, Neural networks, Genetic algorithms, Data visualization, Bayesian modeling, Multivariate regression, Logistic regression

– Experience using statistical analysis tools (Octave, R, SAS, SPSS, Tableau, Weka)
