As the Quality Engineering Lead, your responsibilities will include:

Working with local and remote development teams to build detailed quality plans for project that includes functional, integration and performance testing.

Collaborating with development teams to ensure testing appropriately covers the products features and capabilities.

Working hand-in-hand with team leads and development director to ensure testing milestones are set, measured and met.

Working with developers to perform root-cause analysis and preliminary problem diagnosis.

Tracking defects found during testing efforts and ensure they are properly tracked throughout the defect lifecycle process

Working with developers to perform root-cause analysis and preliminary problem diagnosis.

Collaborating with other QE Leads to highlight cross-functional integration needs.

Implementing quality processes, procedures and workflows identified by the Quality Engineering Manager.


Required skills:
3 to 7 years of experience in a quality assurance or quality engineering role

Proven ability to author quality strategies and test execution plans

Strong analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills

Demonstrated ability to collaborate across diverse and remote teams

Experience conducting performance analysis testing within distributed systems.

Understands how to set performance goals and interpret collected performance results.

Familiar with linux

Experience working within automated testing environments

Experience with Ul, API and back-end testing

Experience testing distributed applications

Understands network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, UDP)

Understands Agile Development and Testing methodologies

Understands unit testing and possesses knowledge of xUnit based test frameworks.

Desired skills:
Experience implementing and interpreting code coverage analysis

Knowledge of continuous integration systems (e.g.,Jenkis, Bamboo, TeamCity)

Experience developing training regimens around quality.

Education Requirements:

B.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Computer Information Systems
