Description: We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer to fit in our Agile team, whose main function will be coordinating and executing tasks related to testing our email protection products running on different Linux/Unix platforms. This position lets the candidate be part of the Linux/Unix team having great emphasis on openness and cooperativeness. To be able to fill the position successfully, candidate must have dedication towards developing Unix/Linux systems, as well as utilize your excellent skills towards the efficient operation of the team. Main tasks: . Take part in planning releases with product management and other teams using agile methodology (clarifying requirements, branch those into releases, make estimations on resource needs); . Create test plans, write test cases, execute test for components and functions (unit and functional tests, systems, performance and load tests); . Create and launch automated test cases working together with the developers (smoke test, sanity and UI tests); . Manage and configure test infrastructure (virtual machines, network, …); . Effective communication, get over barriers slowing down the progress of the team, ask for or provide help as needed
Required skills: . University/college degree in computer science . At least 2 years of experience in using script languages, especially Perl and Unix Shell . Experience with SQL . Comprehensive knowledge of Unix/Linux platforms and mailing techniques . At least 3 years of experience in creating and executing test cases . Knowledge of different testing methodologies . Experience with testing systems, automated regression tests and test automation . Experience with agile developing methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) . Excellent problem solving capability and willingness . Precision and thoroughness . Able to work in changing environment and prioritize accordingly . Teamwork . Fluent English
Desired skills: . Experience in testing high availability systems . Experience with virtual infrastructures . Experience in using development assistance systems (version management, static analysis, code profiling, code coverage analysis etc)
