Description: We are looking to immediately fill the position of Software Developer Malware Script Detection and Parsing Work as part of our “Malicious Script and Exploit Detection Team” within the Avira Engine Team in Germany. Support us with your excellent C++ knowledge and let’s fight against malicious scripts and exploits. Our challenges: * You will be involved in coding embedded scripting engines for execution within a restricted environment. * You will design, implement and integrate software components. * Furthermore you will design and implement extendable interfaces and define interfaces to integrate third party software components.
Required skills: Your qualifications: * Diploma degree in computer sciences (Diplom-Informatiker) or equivalent bachelor or master degree or extensive professional experience * Excellent knowledge of C++, with extensive experience in professional software development * Experience with embedding of dynamic type languages (JavaScript, Python, Lua) within C++ based software products * Solid experience in interfaces design * Solid experience in cross-platform development (Linux, Windows) * Solid experience in at least one dynamically typed language (JavaScript, Python, Lua) * Solid experience in SAX and DOM parser usage * Excellent command of written and spoken English * You have a high level of self motivation and you enjoy analytical work * Furthermore, you work conscientiously and recognise problems already in advance and have the ability to make the right decisions even when working under pressure * You enjoy working in a team and communicate effectively
Desired skills: Desirable additional skills: * Experience in web browser development is a significant advantage * Solid experience in compiler construction is highly desirable * Experience using the Boost C++ libraries is a plus * Solid experience in common Regex dialects is a plus
