Description: Your responsibilities will include upkeep and maintenance of our existing Windows and ESX server systems as well as troubleshooting tasks. You will independently implement, conceptualise and co-ordinate IT-projects in Windows and ESX environments. Our challenges: You will manage and expand the existing AD/Exchange cluster infrastructure. You will support our team in the installation and administration of the Windows server 2003/2008 systems in use. The expansion and management of the global ESX cluster landscape will be your responsibility. You will plan and carry out the expansion of the existing storage environment. You will monitor existing system resources and initiate appropriate countermeasures. 350 domestic and international employees will benefit from your expertise in internal user support as part of third level support
Required skills: Training in computer science or a similar field Minimum 3 years experience in server administration Certification in the Exchange environment as well as MCSA or MCSE Sound knowledge of the ESX environment Sound command of written and spoken German and English Ability to work in a team Independent, structured and precise work processes Communication skills Flexibility and resilience
Desired skills: Experience using Linux mail relay servers Experience establishing a Citrix XenApp environment Knowledge of storage system administration, preferably on the basis of NetApp, LeftHand or EVA
