Mark Rober is a Mechanical Engineer at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory and He had been working on Mars Rover to conduct research on Mars for living organisms. But when He is not at NASA’s laboratory and not doing anything important, He is finding ways to create his Halloween costume more fascinating.

He attached two iPads in front and back, and turned on Facetime – live video streaming software. The two iPads created an illusion of hole inside his shirt by turning on video conferencing between two iPads. There are also many interesting ways to make it scarier such as by using fake blood.

Mark also tried working with portable WiFi and doing bunch of stuff with live broadcasting while knocking doors for trick or treats. Brent Rose from Gizmode.com asked Mark about things He did on rover and He said, “spent the past 5 years designing and delivering hardware on the Sky Crane (the thing the Rover gets lowered from when it reaches the surface) as well as some hardware that sits on the top of the Rover top deck that acts as an interface when the Robotic Arm comes to deliver a sample of dirt into the belly of the Rover to test for traces of organics”. It is also good idea to borrow iPads from someone to scare your friends away.
