Two years and tens of millions of YouTube hits after its debut, the iconic trailer for Dead Island still commands a passionate audience of fans. A group of them have put together the live action remake below, recreating the slow-motion reverse chronology of an island holiday gone terribly for a young family. Almost everything from the original has been preserved, including the disquietingly serene soundtrack and gratuitous splashes of blood.
