If you haven’t logged into your Facebook Account settings lately, you might want to do so. Your settings are fine, the only thing different is nicer, cleaner interface:
From this one screen you can access all of your account settings just by clicking the links on the left column. There is a direct link to your privacy settings, and a link to “Download a copy of your Facebook data.” Speaking of which, when is the last time you backed up your Facebook account?
It could be just a coincidence, but with Facebook no doubt feeling the pressure from Google+, one has to wonder if these enhancements and upgrades are related. Competition is good for the soul, and this holds true in the realm of social networking platforms. Hopefully, the end result will be more privacy, slicker design and a better all around social media experience.
