Kaspersky Launches Targeted Attack Protection Platform

Kaspersky Lab today announced a new solution aimed at helping customers detect advanced targeted attacks, and a new security Intelligence offering for enterprises. Generically named the Kaspersky Anti Targeted Attack Platform, the system monitors network, web and e-mail activity to help detect attacks at any stage, even if no malicious activity has occurred.

According to the security firm, an Advanced Sandbox provides an isolated and virtualized environment for the analysis of suspicious objects, while a Targeted Attack Analyzer leverages data processing and machine learning technologies to assess events and combine feedback from different analysis engines.
