Bitdefender today announced a killer deal on its Virus Scanner Plus software for Mac OS X. Previously sold for $29.99 / 24.99, Virus Scanner Plus is now available as a free download from the Mac App Store.
To be clear on one thing, Virus Scanner Plus (as its name implies) basically just scans your system for malware but does little in the way of removing it from your Mac. However, its array of features and interface make it quite a user-friendly tool.
