New data on malwareblacklist.com

Several people have requested to have ASN and Country added to the ParetoLogic URL Clearing house (malwareblacklist.com).

Well, there you have it :-)

While the country information is pretty self-explanatory, ASN is a very valuable piece of information for security researchers. This helps us in particular to track down ISPs, hosting companies etc… at the source of the problem.

We are also going to add the Registrar information in a next update and possibly a VirusTotal link to the malware report.

For those of you that want to perform searches on the ASN and country, please hold on tight. We need to populate 30K + URLs with the data before we enable the search options again.

As always, suggestions are welcome. You can follow me on Twitter @jeromesegura and message me from there.

On a side note, I have been promoted to Senior Security Analyst. :-)
