Patients of Barry University’s Foot and Ankle Institute Impacted by Malware Attack

Earlier this week, Barry University started notifying patients of the Foot and Ankle Institute that their personal information, including medical records, might have been compromised by cybercriminals.

According to The Miami Herald, the university detected a piece of malware on a school laptop on May 14. Shortly after the breach was discovered, an outside firm was called in to clean up the malware infection.
