Rogue Bing Ads Lure Users to Fake Snapchat Installer

Security researchers from ThreatTrack Security have come across a number of executable files purporting to be installers for the popular photo messaging application Snapchat.

It turns out that users who search on Bing for Snapchat are presented with sponsored ads that point to videonechat(dot)com.

The site appears to be hosting a Snapchat installer, but a closer look reveals that the piece of software that users actually download is Dorgem, an old webcam capture…
