Tim Cook talks up Apple’s security standards in wake of recent scrutiny

After taking to Charlie Roses program to say that Apple was among the best of its peers at protecting user privacy, Apples chief executive personally launched a new section of the companys website today that breaks down its various privacy programs and policies. Detailed are things like user privacy policies by country, Apples security tools, and requests from various governments about user information. Apple denied that its own iCloud systems were breached as part of that attack.
