SEOUL, South Korea (AP) — Xiaomi, a Chinese handset maker little known in the West, overtook tech giant Samsung Electronics Co. to become China’s top-selling smartphone brand in the second quarter, a market research company said Tuesday.
SEOUL, South Korea (AP) — Xiaomi has overtaken Samsung Electronics Co. to become the biggest smartphone maker in China.
Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi announced two new devices today: the Mi 4 smartphone and the Mi Band, which is also the companys first wearable. This is also the first LTE phone for Xiaomi, though it is currently only compatible with Chinas LTE networks.
