Fuze, an enterprise-grade voice and video collaboration platform, has patched a vulnerability that exposed recordings of private meetings. A fix was made server-side by Fuze, and a patch was pushed to its endpoint client apps within 11 days of being privately notified by researchers at Rapid7.

Google pushed out its monthly Android patches Monday, addressing 17 critical vulnerabilities, six of which are tied to its problematic Mediaserver component. An additional four critical vulnerabilities related to Qualcomm components in Android handsets including Google’s own Nexus 6P, Pixel XL and Nexus 9 devices were also patched.

Most of that spam was coming from the Necurs botnet, which is currently considered the world’s largest spam botnet. However, in late December 2016, the network’s activity almost ceased completely and, as time showed, it wasn’t just a break for the festive season.
