When the government’s health insurance shopping site Healthcare.gov first launched on October 1st, it was obvious that something was very wrong. One proposal was to experiment with a digital services agency within the government that could operate with the speed and agility of a startup.
Today is officially the last day to sign up for health insurance, and the government marketplace has stumbled twice. Following a temporary outage this morning, the site was rejecting new applications outright for about 30 minutes this afternoon.
