NEW YORK (AP) — Facebook is buying virtual reality company Oculus, betting $2 billion that its technology will become a new way for people to communicate, learn or be entertained.
Imagine all the things you can do in virtual reality: riding a rollercoaster, riding a dinosaur, going to the movies, sitting on a virtual couch watching TV, going on virtual walks through virtual parks, shopping, brushing your teeth, taking a shower. All without ever having to leave your bed!
