HBO is looking to convince even more people to watch its TV shows by promoting HBO Go as a solid way to avoid all those awkward moments that may pop up while watching TV with the whole family. The company released seven short ads centered around various popular HBO shows including Game of Thrones, True Detective, True Blood, Girls and Curb Your Enthusiasm, highlighting certain scenes that may spark unusual family conversation. The fix, in all those cases, is HBO Go, which would let users watch any HBO programs on other devices instead of the TV, thus leaving them undisturbed by potentially annoying conversations.
