What the authors have found is that a large number of computers used by the U.S. Government, by the Critical Infrastructure (especially utility companies) and by ATM’s are at risk. They also make it clear that despite warnings by Microsoft on support for a product that is 12 years old, the Government sat on its hands and took no action on the threat.
