Gamers looking to get their hands on Alienware’s Alpha PC gaming console won’t have to wait much longer. Alienware has yet to announce what specs the base model will feature, but gamers can configure the Alpha with an Intel Core i7 CPU, up to 8GB of RAM, Nvidia’s Maxwell-based graphics, up to 1TB of storage and a 802.11 AC wireless adapter. While initially designed to be one of the first Steam Boxes, delays with Valve’s Steam OS and proprietary controller means that the Alpha will ship with Windows 8.1 and an Xbox 360 controller.
