The angry birds are transforming. Following the success of partnerships like Angry Birds Star Wars, Rovio is announcing a new version of the property that blends tossing birds with transforming robots. The aptly named Angry Birds Transformers will include a mobile game with an as-of-yet unannounced release date, as well as more Telepods, tiny QR code-enabled figures that can be scanned into the game.
