Apple is working on two versions of the iPhone 6… but only one might launch this fall

Apple is betting that bigger will be better when it comes to the iPhone 6, which is why it’s reportedly working on two versions of the device that are both larger than the iPhone 5s. Barron’s flags a new research note from UBS analyst Steve Milunovich, who says that Apple now has a 4.7-inch version and a 5.5-inch version of the iPhone 6 in the works, although he’s only certain that Apple will release one of them this fall. While the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 is a near lock to launch in either August or September, Milunovich says that the 5.5-inch model “may or may not launch at the same time.” What’s more, Milunovich says that the 5.5-inch model “could be of the same
