The once cutting-edge handset is already back on sale in India and now it looks as if it is going to be rolled out to other emerging markets as an affordable premium phone. In January, the iPhone 4 went back on sale in India priced at 22,900 rupees ($366.42), alongside a host of financing and trade-in offers that potentially lowered its cost to around 15,000 rupees ($245). However, according to the Economic Times, the four-year-old handset is actually back in production and as well as in India is set to go on sale in Indonesia and Brazil. Apple is attempting to break into these potentially huge new smartphone markets, however it is not prepared to offer heavy discounts or markdowns in order to tempt customers.
