During a press conference at CES 2014, ATT Mobility CEO Ralph de La Vega revealed that the company will launch HD voice service later this year. ATT follows T-Mobile and Sprint, both of which have already launched similar services. The first device to support HD voice on ATTs network will be the Asus Padfone X. The Padfone X also supports VoLTE (voice over LTE) and LTE Advanced, though ATT did not say when those services would actually be available.
