The Museum of Modern Art will host an all-encompassing retrospective next year on Björks eccentric career, covering her music, outfits, performances, videos, and everything else that has gone along with them over more than 20 years of her work. The exhibition will include her seven solo LPs, from 1993s Debut to 2011s Biophilia, as well as her collaborations with fashion designers, directors, photographers, and much more. Therell be a narrative running throughout the entire exhibition on her career, but the narrative will mix biographical details and fictitious ones, written in part by Björk herself. Björk is an extraordinarily innovative artist whose contributions to contemporary music, video, film, fashion, and art have had a major impact on her generation worldwide, chief MoMA curator Klaus Biesenbach says in a statement.
