BlackBerry is launching its next Porsche Design-branded smartphone, the P9983, in October. Unlike the P9982, its Porsche-emblazoned predecessor, the new P9983 has a QWERTY keyboard — but just like a real Porsche, the P9983 will likely be sold at a monumental markup. In an attempt to live up to its luxury branding, BlackBerry has used costly sapphire glass for the P9983 — but only for the phones pea-sized camera lens, not its display.
