Canonical shutters Dropbox competitor Ubuntu One

Canonical announced plans today to shut down its Dropbox competitor Ubuntu One, a move that will also signal the end of its streaming music service. If we offer a service, we want it to compete on a global scale, CEO Jane Silber noted in a blog post. For Ubuntu One to continue to do that would require more investment than we are willing to make.
