Conserve battery by adding a second screen to your smartphone

A new Kickstarter project says that you can improve smartphone battery life by adding a second screen to your Android handset, thus stopping yourself from continuously turning on the smartphone’s main display. Called InkCase Plus, the device is actually an E Ink screen that’s mounted in a special case, and it’s able to display incoming notifications and run certain special applications. InkCase Plus supports sports and fitness apps, photos and eBook content as well.
